Ms. Teah Pearson, MS

Founder

Mental & Behavioral Health Advocate | Wellness Visionary

Teah Pearson is an entrepreneur and advocate for mental and behavioral wellness, animal welfare, and community development. She holds a master’s degree in psychology and a minor in criminal justice, bringing together her education and life experience to help people navigate difficult challenges.

Born in Florida and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Teah developed a deep appreciation for resilience, community, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and supported.

Her belief that “Health is Wealth” guides her work. She understands how everyday demands can leave little room to pause and care for ourselves. Through Bluebird Equine Therapeutic Ranch, she offers opportunities to slow down, reconnect with nature, and receive support.

Teah’s experience in mental and behavioral health has shaped her appreciation for the different ways people find healing. Alongside professional therapy, she values the connections people can develop through animals, peaceful surroundings, and meaningful relationships.

That passion led her to acquire 57½ acres and establish Bluebird Equine Therapeutic Ranch. Here, horses, nature, and therapeutic experiences come together to support mental and emotional wellness, with a special focus on disabled veterans and children who have experienced trauma. Others seeking support are also welcome.

For Teah, the ranch is deeply personal. Having experienced the comfort of spending time with horses herself, she wanted to share that opportunity with others. Her purpose is to create a place where people can take a breath, feel supported, and find hope for their next step.

Rev. Cindy Cline

Community Partner

Founder of Paws for Hope

Rev. Cindy Cline brings a lifelong commitment to caring for people and animals to her role as a community partner at Bluebird Equine Therapeutic Ranch. She is the founder of Paws for Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs while inspiring compassion in the community.

Cindy’s love for animals began in childhood, when she would bring home abandoned, injured and neglected animals and care for them. Throughout her adult life, she has personally rescued and cared for more than 100 animals, strengthening her belief that every life deserves kindness, safety and a second chance.

Through Paws for Hope’s partnership with Bluebird, rescued dogs will have a home at the ranch, with plans to train suitable dogs as service animals for clients. Some dogs will also participate in therapeutic activities. Dogs who are not rehomed will remain at the ranch and continue to receive care.

Cindy is an interfaith minister ordained through the Institute for Leadership and Lifelong Learning International. She serves as an associate minister at Unity of Houston, where her responsibilities include pastoral care, Sacred Service Ministry and Sunday morning service coordination.

Her 38 years of ministry include 14 years as Executive Director, along with leadership roles in volunteer coordination, communications and public relations. She is also a certified Life Mastery Consultant through the Brave Thinking Institute, a certified Pet Chaplain and cofounder of Unity’s Animal Kinship Ministry.

As a motivational speaker and author of Always Hope, Cindy has dedicated much of her life to supporting people through difficult circumstances, including advocating for individuals with disabilities.

At Bluebird, her partnership brings together two deeply personal callings: helping people find hope and giving rescued animals the care and belonging they deserve.

“I have spent my life caring for people. Now I am answering a lifelong calling to care for the animals who have always found their way to me. At Paws for Hope, every rescue begins with hope, every life matters, and every dog deserves a second chance.”
